Wolff tells FIA engine help must stay fair
Title hopes could change quickly if rivals get extra engine upgrades that let them jump ahead instead of simply catching up. Mercedes boss Toto Wolff asked the FIA to apply the 2026 ADUO rules with precision, clarity and transparency before the Miami Grand Prix. Teams at least 2% behind the best internal combustion engine can receive extra development chances.
