Australia's Trump Tower project cancelled over brand

Luxury building plans on Australia’s Gold Coast have been halted after a dispute over the Trump name. Altus Property Group ended its deal with the Trump Organization less than three months after announcing the 91-storey project, with chief executive David Young calling the brand “toxic” in Australia. Trump representatives said the developer failed to meet financial duties tied to the A$1.5bn proposal.
