Apple's 'Kill Switch' Makes Stolen iPhones Worthless

This major security upgrade aims to make stolen iPhones completely useless, tackling a growing problem of phone theft. Apple, working with the Met Police, has agreed to install a "kill switch" and made "Stolen Device Protection" a default setting in a recent global update. This means sensitive actions now require Face ID or Touch ID, even if a thief knows your passcode.
