Apple is exploring four new Vision Pro headset designs for 2028
Apple's Vision team is reportedly working on four “completely revamped” Vision Pro headset designs, with an expected launch in late 2028 or early 2029. These concepts, codenamed N224, include designs that offload internal parts, similar to Meta's VR Glasses with an external computing module. However, senior Apple decision-makers still prefer an all-in-one design, and there's no guarantee a new headset will launch.
