Learners must book own driving tests from Tuesday
People learning to drive will no longer face inflated prices or long waits for test slots. From Tuesday, May 12, only learner drivers can book and manage their own practical driving tests. This change aims to stop third parties and automated bots from reselling standard £62 tests for as much as £500, with average waits exceeding 22 weeks.
