Ann Widdecombe was killed in a targeted attack, police say

Former minister Ann Widdecombe was killed in a targeted attack, counter-terrorism police have said, as they lead the investigation into her death. A 28-year-old man already in custody has been re-arrested on suspicion of preparing or instigating acts of terrorism, after new information and evidence came to light. Officers said they are still working to establish the motive behind the attack.
