Angela Rayner Calls UK Immigration Period Rise "Un-British"

Many people hoping for permanent UK residency may soon face a much longer wait. Angela Rayner, a former deputy prime minister, spoke in London on Tuesday, criticising the government's plan to change immigration rules. She called increasing the qualifying period for indefinite leave to remain from five years to ten "un-British".
