Andy Burnham commits £340m for 1,200 homes to end UK rough sleeping

Andy Burnham has promised to end rough sleeping across the UK, allocating an extra £340 million to provide 1,200 homes and support 3,000 people over five years. The pledge echoes a similar commitment he made as Greater Manchester mayor in 2017, where rough sleeping initially dropped by two-thirds.
