Ancient whale graveyard found 7km deep

Scientists have found the deepest, oldest, and largest whale graveyard ever, stretching for around 1,200km in the Indian Ocean. A team from China, Italy, and New Zealand discovered the site 7km deep, with some remains dating back 5.3 million years. Among 485 fossil sites, they found a five-metre minke whale carcass and a new species, with unknown life thriving.
