AI firm Anthropic is spending $45 billion on cloud computing from Nscale
The six-year contract helps the artificial intelligence company secure essential server space before it tries to go public. Nscale, the infrastructure provider, is building the West Virginia data centre using upcoming Nvidia chips that arrive late next year. The massive facility will demand about 460 megawatts of electricity, roughly enough to run 345,000 American homes simultaneously.
