AI Emails Are Clogging UK Councils And MP Inboxes

Public bodies across Britain are being swamped by chatbot-written complaints, a problem now called AI clog. A Labour MP's caseworker said about half the emails her office receives are written by artificial intelligence. Local government lawyers say complaints that once ran to two pages are often ten times longer, with some reaching 200 pages. Transport for London logged a record 4,769 information requests last year.
