Australia beat Samoa 44-12 in Sydney to reach the men's Rugby League World Cup final against New Zealand in Brisbane next Sunday. Reece Walsh scored a hat-trick among eight Australian tries after a fiery pre-match Siva Tau that ended forehead to forehead. Samoa led through an early Stephen Crichton penalty but faded after errors, ill-discipline and a sin-bin for Spencer Leniu following a disallowed try.
