ADHD diagnoses now show little difference from those without it
Scientists propose that diagnostic criteria for ADHD and autism have expanded to such an extent that individuals with these conditions are nearly identical to the general population. Around 71,300 Danish children diagnosed between 2012 and 2022 were examined in research spearheaded by Aarhus University in Denmark. The researchers observed that those who received a diagnosis grew "increasingly similar" to undiagnosed individuals.
