Actors are losing roles to AI-generated versions of themselves

Actors in the US micro drama industry are discovering AI-generated versions of their performances on apps without their consent. Ashley BeLoat found an AI actor mimicking her movements and voice in a remake of her show "Hate the Way I Love You" on MoboReels. The trend is widespread in the $1.4 billion industry, with actors like Brittany Marsicek and Evan Gambardella also reporting similar experiences.
