Temperatures could reach 28C for bank holiday
People could experience the warmest temperatures of the year so far this bank holiday weekend. Ahead of the long weekend, temperatures will rise to 28C in south-eastern England, with most places dry on Thursday and Friday. Some areas, like Herefordshire, might even meet the Met Office's heatwave definition over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
