Jonathan, 194-year-old tortoise, named Guinness World Records Icon.
Jonathan, the world's oldest living land animal at 194 years old, has been named a Guinness World Records Icon. The Seychelles giant tortoise lives on St. Helena and was at least 50 when he arrived there in 1882. He still eats, sunbathes, and mates, despite losing his vision and sense of smell.
