Russia claims new village capture as drone strikes hit both sides
Russia said its forces had taken control of another village in eastern Ukraine, though the claim remains unverified. At the same time, a Ukrainian drone strike hit Russia’s Ust-Luga port, causing a fire at a major export hub. Overnight, more than 200 Russian drones targeted Ukrainian cities, killing at least five people and damaging infrastructure, including a maternity hospital in Odesa, in what Volodymyr Zelenskyy described as a night of “pure terror.”
