Amazon launches Bio Discovery. An AI tool designed to slash drug development timelines
Amazon Web Services launched Amazon Bio Discovery, giving scientists access to over 40 biological foundation models plus an AI agent that helps design experiments and interpret results. A Memorial Sloan Kettering project generated 100,000 antibody candidates for wet-lab testing in weeks rather than a year. Bayer, the Broad Institute and Voyager Therapeutics are already using the platform. It launched this week.
