RAF jets scrambled as Russian drones near NATO airspace
People near Romania’s border were warned after Russian drones approached Nato airspace during overnight strikes on Ukraine. Two RAF Typhoon jets were launched from a Romanian base early on 25 April and were cleared to engage, but they did not fire or enter Ukrainian airspace. Later, an object fell near Galați and residents reported explosions near Reni.
