London AI lab Inherent raises £37.2m for science
London AI lab Inherent just raised £37.2 million to change how scientific discoveries are made, aiming for "AI-native science." Former DeepMind, Microsoft, and White House staff founded the company, building an AI system named Faraday to help human researchers. Index Ventures led the $50 million funding round, with former UK government AI tsar Matt Clifford advising.
