Venice Biennale prize ceremony cancelled after jury resigns
Visitors to the Venice Biennale will now vote for their favourite pavilions after the planned award ceremony was cancelled. The entire jury quit just nine days before the art show's opening, amid tensions over Russia's participation. Their decision followed a pledge not to award prizes to countries whose leaders face International Criminal Court charges, naming Russia and Israel.
