US order stops Europe using latest AI

This sudden US move has cut Europe off from top AI models, exposing its reliance on American tech. The US Commerce Department ordered American AI firm Anthropic on Friday to block non-US access to its Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models. Anthropic said the government worried about "jailbreaking" the models, which could help hackers.
