Wes Streeting delays leadership bid for Burnham's election

A potential Labour leadership contest won't happen until after Andy Burnham's by-election. Wes Streeting stated he will hold off on any formal challenge to Sir Keir Starmer until Burnham has fought the Makerfield by-election. This allows the Greater Manchester Mayor to contest the seat, with the by-election expected on 18 June.
