RAF Voyager flies UK rescue team to Venezuela after quakes
Families trapped by collapsed buildings could receive extra help as international crews continue searching for survivors after twin earthquakes killed more than 1,400 people. An RAF Voyager flew the UK International Search and Rescue team from RAF Brize Norton to Venezuela on 29 June, carrying personnel, equipment and specialist dogs. Six search dogs and drones were sent, while the UK also pledged an initial £2 million in humanitarian aid.
