Train hits car at Lancashire crossing: Driver dead, child critical
A person has died and a child is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a train hit their car at a level crossing in Hoghton, Lancashire. Emergency services, including two air ambulances, went to the scene at about 8:50 AM on Thursday. The Rail Accident Investigation Branch has sent inspectors to gather evidence.
