£26.5m Bank Robbery Inspires New Belfast Film
The new film shows the chilling human story of bank staff forced to commit a robbery because their families were kidnapped. The 2004 Northern Bank heist saw officials forced to empty their Belfast headquarters vaults while two families were held captive a full day. Called 'No Ordinary Heist', it features actors Eddie Marsan and Éanna Hardwicke, but most of the cash wasn't found.
