Reform UK proposes ending Cabinet Office
Ministers and their advisers would assume central authority in government decision-making, according to Reform UK's proposals. Under Reform UK's proposals, the Cabinet Office and the cabinet secretary's role would be eliminated and replaced by an Office of the Prime Minister. MP Danny Kruger's 11-page blueprint for Reform UK includes plans for about 50 per cent cuts in civil service communications, HR, and policy positions.
