Netflix's $111bn Warner Bros bid collapses after White House meeting
Netflix has abandoned its planned acquisition of Warner Bros after declining to raise its initial bid. The streaming giant refused to match a competing $111bn proposal from Paramount Skydance, claiming the purchase was no longer financially viable. This withdrawal followed a White House meeting between CEO Ted Sarandos and justice department officials. Additionally, President Trump recently demanded the company sack board member Susan Rice.
