UK households owe £7 billion in unpaid bills
Numerous British households are not accessing financial aid for their essential expenses, with the cumulative amount they owe companies currently exceeding £7 billion. The National Audit Office found many don't know about social tariffs for energy, water, and broadband services. Only 39% of eligible water customers are aware of these tariffs, which help vulnerable people manage debt.
