228 dead: Air France, Airbus guilty for 2009 crash

After a 17-year legal battle, a Paris appeals court delivered a verdict for the families of 228 plane crash victims. Air France and Airbus were found guilty of corporate manslaughter for the 2009 Rio-Paris incident. Each company was ordered to pay the maximum corporate manslaughter fine of €225,000, a figure requested by prosecutors.
