£6 billion in nuclear assets: MoD has no records, say MPs

MPs are worried the Ministry of Defence isn't being clear about how it spends money on nuclear weapons. The Public Accounts Committee found the Defence Nuclear Enterprise had no proper records for over £6 billion of its assets in 2024–25. They're now calling for a new committee to keep a closer eye on these growing costs.
