Driving Test Cheating Surges in UK with Headsets, Impersonators
Cheating on driving tests in England, Scotland, and Wales has increased dramatically, rising nearly 50% in the year leading up to September 2025. The Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) data shows over 2,844 attempts to cheat, with over 1,100 involving Bluetooth headsets for theory tests and over 1,700 cases of impersonation for both theory and practical exams. Authorities attribute this rise to test shortages and increased desperation, while experts warn of the public safety risks of unqualified drivers.
