HMRC signs £175 million AI deal with Quantexa
UK taxpayers could benefit from improved efficiency and better protection of public funds. The tax authority, HMRC, awarded London-based AI software company Quantexa a ten-year, £175 million contract to modernise its data. Quantexa's AI systems will help identify tax at risk and catch errors across millions of filings, aiming to reduce the estimated £36 billion annual tax gap.
