Zelenskyy writes to Putin, proposes direct war talks
Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelenskyy has written directly to Vladimir Putin for the first time since the 2022 invasion, proposing face-to-face peace talks. The public letter suggested meeting in a neutral country such as Switzerland, Turkey, or an Arab state.
