Tories regain Westminster Council from Labour

The Conservatives regained control of Westminster City Council from Labour overnight, the biggest single Tory result of the night so far. Kemi Badenoch's party now holds 32 of the 54 seats on the central London authority, with Labour reduced to 22. The Tories also held Fareham in Hampshire, Harlow in Essex and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire while losing more than 110 seats elsewhere across England.
