William Hill Owner Backs Bally’s Intralot Bid as hareholders Eye Higher Payout
Shareholders could see a higher offer for their stock, while new funding is set to help deal with existing borrowings. On Friday, British bookmaker Evoke accepted an all-share purchase by Greek gaming company Bally's Intralot, with its board backing the agreement. The proposal values the William Hill and 888 casino owner at 52 pence a share, and lenders committed about £889 million for refinancing.
