Eight arrested at Liverpool anti-immigration march
The anti-immigration march in Walton saw many local businesses close their doors, fearing a repeat of the violence that erupted in the area in 2024. Merseyside Police said eight people were arrested for offences like public order or assaulting an officer during the march on 13 June 2026. Around 200 protesters chanted "send them back" and moved through residential streets before dispersing.
