UK weather brings showers and frost in unsettled week
Most of the UK will stay dry on Wednesday with sunny spells, but Northern Scotland faces showery rain and the Northern Isles could see wintry showers, the Met Office said. Temperatures are below average for the time of year with light frosts possible overnight in the countryside. Showers are forecast to spread to the south by Friday, with thunder possible at the weekend.
