Meta withdraws AI image generator over privacy concerns
Meta has removed a new AI feature that let its chatbot create fake images using content from public Instagram accounts. The company admitted it "missed the mark" after privacy concerns arose, as users were opted in by default without their knowledge. Hollywood union Sag-Aftra called the U-turn a "win", having urged members to protect their likeness.
