UK brings 40 countries together on Hormuz crisis
Fuel and energy supplies remain at risk while the strait stays blocked. Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper chaired a virtual meeting with 40 nations on Thursday to discuss reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Countries including France, Germany, Japan and the UAE signed a joint statement backing safe passage efforts.
