Pink Planet has salty clouds, telescope finds
Astronomers have discovered salty clouds in the atmosphere of the distant "Pink Planet," a finding they theorised over 15 years ago. New observations from the James Webb Space Telescope finally revealed the elusive object's atmosphere, which is filled with exotic chemistry. This planetary-mass companion, called GJ504b, orbits a sun-like star 57 light-years from Earth.
