War could cut global growth by one percent
World Bank President Ajay Banga warned Friday that Middle East conflict could reduce global growth by up to 1% if fighting continues. He also cautioned that inflation could rise by 2 to 3 percentage points, as oil prices have already surged 50%. Both risks pose serious consequences for consumers and economies worldwide.
