Belfast riots injure 12 police, water cannon fired
The unrest in Belfast has now seen twelve police officers injured during two nights of violence, prompted by a serious knife attack. Riot police were attacked by groups throwing bricks, bottles, and wood, leading to a water cannon being deployed. These incidents occurred at a major roundabout north-west of the city, with 16 arrests made so far.
