GSK acquires Nuvalent for $10.6bn, gains two lung cancer drugs.
Patients with certain lung cancers could gain new treatment choices if medicines under review are approved later this year. GSK said on 9 June it would acquire US-based Nuvalent in a transaction worth $10.6bn, one of the largest purchases in its history. Led by chief executive Luke Miels, the agreement includes zidesamtinib and neladalkib, two late-stage non-small cell lung cancer treatments.
