UK property taxes are highest among big economies
UK businesses face the highest property tax burden among major economies, which experts warn could deter investment. Tax firm Ryan reports these taxes rank first globally as a share of GDP. From April, revalued business rates came into effect, leading thousands of companies to appeal their new valuations and await decisions on their revised bills.
