Rent drives 35% young men to live with parents.

Rising rent and house prices mean more young adults are choosing to live with family, particularly men. Office for National Statistics data reveals 35% of men aged 20-35 lived with parents in 2025, an increase from 26% in 2000. For young women, this rate was 22% during the same period.
