London will miss 2030 net zero target, Mayor admits
London won't hit its net zero carbon target by 2030, which means the city will still rely heavily on fossil fuels. Mayor Sadiq Khan conceded this point, asserting that he requires increased authority over the power network to achieve substantial advancement. He told the London Assembly on Thursday 21 May that current funding is too fragmented.
