New School Nurseries to Save Parents Thousands Yearly
The government has announced 331 new school-based nurseries opening in September 2026, creating over 6,000 childcare places for working families. Keir Starmer said the plan eases living costs, with government-funded childcare saving parents up to £7,500 annually.
