350 asylum seekers move from hotels to army camp
Hundreds of asylum seekers are now living in 'basic accommodation' at army sites instead of hotels. The Home Office has announced the closure of eleven government-funded hotels in England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, with further closures planned. Around 350 claimants were moved to the Crowborough military camp in East Sussex, a change the Refugee Council deems unsuitable.
