Three Dorset Teens Confirmed With Meningitis B

Thousands of teenagers in Dorset are now being offered antibiotics and vaccines as a precaution. Three young people in Weymouth have been confirmed with meningitis B, with cases detected between 20 March and 15 April, and all three are now recovering well. Pupils at Budmouth Academy and Wey Valley Academy were invited to collect antibiotics this weekend, UKHSA confirmed.
